Boreas Maritime is recruiting for an enthusiastic Survey & Positioning Specialist (Project Surveyor) who is interested in joining my client's team of professionals operating worldwide.

As a Survey & Positioning Engineer, your daily activities are:
Preparation of tenders and projects for all survey and positioning-related topics. includes (among other things): writing a scope of work, reviewing subcontractor procedures, specifying equipment requirements, determining cost-effective survey methodologies that meet the tender/project requirements;
Communicate with survey and positioning subcontractors;
Specify and advise project teams on the installation aids needed for (subsea) survey and positioning.
Keeping up to date with the latest survey and positioning techniques and equipment, as well as following industry trends and networking with potential (services) suppliers;
Assist with the offshore execution of critical survey tasks.
To excel in this position, the following applies:
experience with working as a project surveyor, experience with subcontractor coordination, tender support, testing, and mobilizing survey equipment, and have worked with or are familiar with GIS, bathymetry, or coordinate transformation software, then please apply.
A bachelor's degree in Hydrography, Geodesy, Oceanography, Offshore Engineering, or a related field is required.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in hydrographic survey, offshore construction support, or equivalent;
A pragmatic attitude with a "can do" mentality;
Previous experience working in a project environment;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
A desire to work (temporarily) offshore on our ships, overseas, or in other offices.
